Edna (Edmée) Gaudet, 96, of Belliveau Village, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2000, at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in Memramcook Est, she was the daughter of the late André Landry and Joséphine Gautreau. A housewife, she attended Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church. She was a member of the Golden Age Club of Pré-d'en-Haut.

She is survived by three daughters, Dorilla (late Roger) Cormier of Barachois, Dorice LeBlanc of Belliveau Village, Diane (Emerie Gaudet) Richard of Barachois; three sons, Eddie (Délina) Gaudet of Belliveau Village, Ernest (Bernadette) Gaudet of Belliveau Village, Laurie (Ella) Gaudet of Memramcook: 21 grandchildren; 23 great grand-children; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Placide Gaudet in 1976; four sisters, Euphémie, Zelma, Alice, Marie; two brothers, Eddie, Elzéar.

Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with the Funeral service to be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut on Monday, March 27, 2000, at 10:30am with Father Sylvio Doiron officiating. Interment in Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Cemetery.
